Beautifully crafted, full of intricate detail and a campaign I’m very proud of. The brief was to encourage more people to use the Santander Cycles as lockdown measures began to ease in the summer of 2021.
The background scenes were handcrafted from paper with the models and bikes shot separately to match the scale and perspective. Ten scenes were made in total, all based on places you could explore on a Santander bike in and around London.
This campaign was nominated for a Leisure, Travel and Tourism award by The Drum Roses.
Using Photoshop’s timeline feature, I built the background animations, which were then supplied to the media agency, who pieced all the assets together. The copy was pulled in dynamically from a matrix to align with target audience groups and track conversion.
